Lyons Colorado is a little mountain town with a big bluegrass problem. Redstone Radio taps into the community by playing the music from Lyons’ own musicians and the music they love. While Lyons is best known for bluegrass, you can expect to hear everything from Old-Time to modern Americana, classic blues and even some eclectic rock and roll.
It’s hard to believe a town of less than 3,000 residents just north of Boulder has so many musicians and so much live music. Fifty-two weeks per year you can hear live music 4-5 days per week. That’s not even counting the big summer festivals that take place on the banks of the St. Vrain river.
